Understanding ADHD:

This talk aims to provide a shared understanding of ADHD from a neurodevelopmental perspective. It will help your team develop an understanding of the different types of ADHD an how ADHD can present differently in different children and young people. We will examine how ADHD can impact daily functioning, and how it affects life at school. We will explore possible ares of difficulty such as social interaction, communication and behaviour, and the potential for exceptional skills and talents. We will also look at how to support school life and mental wellbeing for these students.

As with most of our neurodiversity talks, this talk can also be delivered as a parents workshop as a way for schools/organisations to support parents in developing a better a understanding of their child's strengths and needs.
